7TH LEGION ARCHIVE · CANONICAL HISTORY

THE COMPLETE STORY

Official records of the 7th Legion. Authorized personnel only.

The 7th Legion timeline is a persistent history: victories create political consequences, defeats remove units from the field, and unresolved enemies return years later under new names and organizations.

01ORIGINS

Everon Becomes a Battlefield

Everon's location threatened NATO shipping and reinforcement routes after a pro-Soviet government allowed radar sites, naval facilities, intelligence nodes, and Soviet bases across the island. A limited American intervention with special operations forces and local resistance expanded into the First Everon War.

02FIRST WAR

The Liberation of Everon

The 7th Legion opened the campaign by seizing Monfort Castle, surviving its counterattack, and breaking Russian communications at Mount Fedorov. Alpha Company's destruction at Pier 17 enabled the liberation of St. Piere, while Ghost Platoon later recovered DizzTactical from Spetsnaz captivity at Duras. The war ended only after catastrophic American losses, leaving Everon divided rather than reunited.

03INTERWAR

One Island, Two Governments

The Soviet-backed Northern Everon People's Republic ruled the north while the NATO-supported Republic of Southern Everon held the south. FIA veterans, families, and local commanders survived between them. Both governments rebuilt, and the unresolved resistance movement waited for another chance.

041991

The Second Everon War

Renewed Soviet operations and surviving FIA cells reignited the island. The United States rescued FIA leader Arman Velikov, but civilian abuses, political interference, and mutual distrust destroyed the alliance. Arman died in a confrontation with U.S. forces, American airstrikes shattered the FIA leadership, and Butcher executed a captured U.S. soldier for propaganda.

051991

Regina and the Rise of Mikhail

The deaths of Butcher's wife and son during the Regina fighting turned him into a symbol of vengeance. Arman's son Mikhail Velikov emerged under the protection of the Everon Relief Initiative, accusing both superpowers of controlling Everon's future. Former FIA members, civilians, defectors, mercenaries, and nationalists reorganized as the Everonian Liberation Front.

061991

Western Everon Rises

A hidden business network funded guild houses, mercenaries, mining operations, relief convoys, and political influence. When the ELF launched the Western Uprising, it seized Morton, captured NATO and Soviet vehicles, overran a British headquarters, took Lamentin through Black Tide infiltration, and secured Arland after bribing most of its garrison. Mikhail declared Western Everon with the Sovereign Guard at his side.

07LATE 1991

The Soviet War Machine Breaks

Noctis destroyed Sektor-13. Iron Breakwater delayed tens of thousands of Soviet reinforcements. Final Dawn crippled the northern airfield, while the failed Soviet naval breakout deepened the supply crisis. The Laruns offensive nearly broke Coalition lines, but it exhausted the Soviet and Northern armies. Donovan's recovered intelligence prevented chemical attacks against Southern Everon.

08DEC 1991

Victory Without Reunification

Montignac fell after a devastating urban battle, ending Northern Everon as a functioning state. Coalition and ELF forces then raced north through surrendering towns and abandoned Soviet positions. Western Everon finished the war controlling roughly seventy percent of the island; Southern Everon survived in the south with NATO backing. The United States claimed victory but began a major drawdown.

091992

Butcher Rejects the Peace

Butcher attacked a Coalition victory celebration and an American memorial, claimed responsibility, and fled Everon. He vowed to spend his life inflicting American casualties. The bombing of the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw later that year signaled that Everon's postwar violence had become international.

101994—1997

Mr. K and the Long Shadow

Mr. K used humanitarian cover in Bosnia while intelligence linked his network to weapons, cash, coerced labor, mines, and reconstruction contracts. Operation Black Pyre failed to capture his rescuer but recovered documents. Murdered U.S. special operators on India's coast revealed a shadow group hunting Noctis. In Takistan, Silent Dune captured Farid al-Hassan and exposed Project Caravan.

111999

The Al-Rashid Crisis

Operation Border Shield connected regional unrest to the same international logistics network. Checkpoint Echo destroyed a Marine platoon and accelerated the refugee crisis. At COP Korengal, Tempest 2 made a last stand and killed more than eight hundred Ansar fighters before the position fell. FOB Michigan was then captured, Takistan began building an army through emergency conscription, and every tribe, faction, and criminal network moved to exploit the vacuum.

12THE CONTINUING WAR

Every Campaign Is Connected

Everon's minerals, shell companies, displaced operatives, covert shipping routes, and unresolved leaders echo through Bosnia, India, Takistan, and Al-Rashid. Noctis continues hunting the network while Tempest Company fights the wars it creates. The official archive remains open because the consequences of each operation shape the next battlefield.
