CHAPTER 1: Welcome to the 7th Legion

Welcome to the 7th Legion.

Whether you joined because of YouTube, Arma, friends, or simply wanted a structured military gaming experience, we're happy to have you.

The 7th Legion exists to provide immersive military operations while building a welcoming community that values teamwork, leadership, creativity, and respect.

While our campaigns strive for realism, our community exists first and foremost for people.

We are not simply another Discord server.

We are a community.

Everything we build from campaigns and training to videos, mods, and charity events is possible because of the members who volunteer their time to make it happen.

Every member contributes to the Legion's reputation.

Every interaction matters.

This handbook explains the standards expected of everyone who wears the 7th Legion name.

CHAPTER 2: Mission Statement

The mission of the 7th Legion is to create an organized, immersive, and welcoming military gaming community where members can develop leadership, teamwork, tactical skill, creativity, and lasting friendships.

We accomplish this by providing:

Story-driven military campaigns

Organized training

Historical and fictional operations

Professional community leadership

High quality media production

Opportunities for members to earn recognition through participation and service

CHAPTER 3: Our Core Values

Every decision made within the 7th Legion should reflect these six values.

I. Respect

Every member deserves basic respect.

Disagreements are inevitable.

Disrespect is optional.

II. Teamwork

Success belongs to the team.

No individual is more important than the community.

III. Integrity

Do the right thing.

Even when nobody is watching.

Own your mistakes.

Accept correction.

Remain honest.

IV. Professionalism

We enjoy ourselves.

We joke.

We laugh.

However, when representing the Legion, we expect members to know when to act professionally.Swearing at someone in a chaotic moment in an op is fine, but there is a fine line between that and intentionally trying to harm someone and some can go a bit too far with what they say, by “crashing out”.

V. Leadership

Leadership is Commitment.

Rank is responsibility.

Leaders exist to support members not the other way around.

VI. Community

The friendships built here matter.

Protect them.

Encourage new members.

Help people learn.

Leave the community better than you found it.

CHAPTER 4: Member Expectations

Every member is expected to:

✔ Read this handbook.

✔ Follow leadership.

✔ Respect other members.

✔ Wear authorized uniforms during official operations.

✔ Use assigned loadouts.

✔ Help new players.

✔ Report serious misconduct.

✔ Represent the Legion positively.

✔ Accept constructive criticism.

✔ Have fun without ruining someone else's experience.

Failure to meet these expectations may result in corrective action.

CHAPTER 5: Code of Conduct

The following standards apply everywhere the 7th Legion operates.

This includes:

Discord

Official game servers

Operations

Trainings

Community events

Voice chats

Social media when representing the Legion

Joint events with partner communities

Members WILL:

Treat others respectfully.

Use common sense.

Follow staff instructions.

Accept responsibility for mistakes.

Protect the community's reputation.

Use the chain of command.

Report serious issues.

Be welcoming to new players.

Represent the Legion professionally.

Members WILL NOT:

Harass others consistently.

Blatant Bullying of others.

Threaten others.

Spread rumors.

Doxx members.

Cheat.

Exploit bugs.

Create unnecessary drama.

Sexualize members.

Target members through repeated jokes.

Disrupt operations.

Abuse staff privileges.

Ignore repeated staff instructions.

Intentionally damage the community.

CHAPTER 6: Discord Rules

Discord is the center of our community.

Members are expected to help keep it organized.

Use Channels Correctly

Use channels for their intended purpose.

Avoid derailing discussions.

Avoid posting unrelated content.

Spam

Do not:

Spam messages.

Spam reactions.

Spam GIFs.

Spam pings.

Spam soundboards.

Voice Channels

Avoid:

Talking over briefings.

Playing music without permission.

Screaming.

Background noise.

Disrupting official operations.

Usernames

Nicknames, profile pictures, and statuses must remain appropriate.

Staff may require members to change inappropriate profiles.

Advertising

(Current regulation is to be active in the community for at least 3 months before you are allowed to post your own content in the community, otherwise you can / will be seen as a Attention Seeker for views vs sustaining our community and YOU WILL BE REMOVED INSTANTLY). An alternate process is to contact your CoC and have them ask for permission on your behalf.

Do not advertise:

Other communities.

Products.

Discord servers.

Streams.

Recruitment.

Without approval.

CHAPTER 7: Respect & Professionalism

One of the fastest ways to destroy a community is by allowing disrespect to become normal.

Members should feel comfortable participating without fear of being overly mocked, harassed, or targeted.

That does not mean everyone must agree with each other.

Healthy disagreement is encouraged.

Personal attacks are not.

Examples of Unacceptable Conduct

Repeatedly insulting another member.

Publicly humiliating someone.

Mocking a person's voice, disability, family, religion, or background.

Encouraging others to gang up on a member.

Following someone between channels to continue an argument.

Using rank to intimidate another member.

Retaliating against someone for reporting misconduct.

"It Was Just a Joke"

Humor is part of our community.

However, humor stops being acceptable when:

The target asks you to stop.

It becomes repetitive.

It becomes sexual or degrading.

It creates a hostile environment.

It discourages someone from participating.

If leadership tells you to stop, the expectation is simple: stop.

CHAPTER 8: AI, Deepfakes & Digital Content

Artificial intelligence is a powerful tool and is welcome when used responsibly. However, it can also be misused to embarrass, impersonate, or harm members.

To protect our community, the following standards apply. (We know Dizzchungus started from AI, but I thought about it and to prevent anything from happening lets just stay away from it at all, as my wife brought up a very valid point to me about this and would rather we just not touch this kinda stuff going forward)

Acceptable Uses

Examples include:

Mission posters.

Lore artwork.

Unit graphics.

Cinematic trailers.

Fictional characters.

Voice enhancement for original content.

Community memes that do not target or misrepresent members.

Prohibited Uses

Members may not create or distribute AI-generated content that:

Sexualizes another member.

Depicts another member in explicit or compromising situations.

Falsely portrays a member committing crimes or misconduct.

Imitates another member's voice or identity to deceive others.

Fabricates evidence, screenshots, or conversations.

Damages another member's reputation.

Creating or sharing AI-generated sexual or humiliating content involving a community member may result in immediate permanent removal.

CHAPTER 9: NSFW & Explicit Content

The 7th Legion is not an adult-content community.

Members may not post, send, or distribute:

Pornography.

Explicit videos.

Nude images.

Graphic sexual memes.

Sexual AI-generated content.

Shock pornography.

Requests for intimate images.

Graphic Sexual comments directed at other members.

Additionally:

Do not pressure members into sharing personal or intimate content.

Do not use sexually explicit jokes to target or embarrass another person.

Do not create or share explicit edits of community members.

Violations of this policy are treated seriously and may result in immediate disciplinary action.

CHAPTER 10: Privacy & Personal Information

Respecting privacy is essential to maintaining trust.

Members may not:

Share another person's real name without permission.

Post personal addresses or phone numbers.

Share private messages to create drama.

Reveal someone's workplace or school.

Contact a member's family because of a community dispute.

Doxx or threaten to doxx another person.

If someone shares personal information with you privately, treat that trust with respect.

CHAPTER 11: Representing the 7th Legion

Whenever you wear the Legion tag, attend an official event, stream a Legion operation, or identify yourself as a member, your actions reflect on the community.

Members are expected to:

Be respectful to other communities.

Avoid unnecessary arguments.

Follow server rules when visiting another community.

Represent the Legion professionally.

Respect partnerships with creators, developers, and other organizations.

You are free to join and enjoy other communities. However, misconduct while publicly representing the 7th Legion may be reviewed if it harms our reputation or targets fellow members.

CHAPTER 12: Community Rewards

The 7th Legion recognizes dedication, service, and positive contributions through structured rewards rather than favoritism.

Members may earn recognition through:

Time in the community.

Consistent attendance.

Leadership.

Training achievements.

Community challenges.

Campaign accomplishments.

Development work.

Media contributions.

Recruitment efforts.

Acts of teamwork and professionalism.

Rewards may include:

Service stripes.

Roman numeral service marks.

Campaign ribbons.

Qualification badges.

Custom helmet details.

Approved cosmetic gear.

Certificates and commendations.

Special event recognition.

Custom gear is earned—it is not guaranteed.

CHAPTER 13: Reporting Concerns

If you experience or witness misconduct:

Stay calm.

Preserve evidence when possible.

Report the issue through the proper channels.

Avoid arguing publicly.

Allow staff to investigate.

False reports made intentionally are themselves a violation of this handbook.

Members who report concerns in good faith will not be punished simply because an investigation cannot confirm every allegation.

CHAPTER 14: Discipline & Appeals

The goal of discipline is to protect the community and help members improve—not to punish for the sake of punishment.

Depending on the severity of the violation, corrective action may include:

Verbal Reminder

Written Warning

Official Strike

Probation

Temporary Suspension

Demotion or Removal from Position

Permanent Removal from the Community

Members who believe a disciplinary decision was made in error may submit an appeal through the established process. Which is explained upon DA.

Each appeal will be reviewed fairly and impartially.

CHAPTER 15: CONTACT LIST

Dizz SHOULD NOT be the first person you ask, think to yourself “is this something an NCO would know, or an admin?” Members should attempt to resolve routine questions at the lowest appropriate level. This allows leadership to work efficiently and helps develop junior leaders. Skipping the chain of communication without good reason may result in being redirected to the appropriate individual and possibly even punished depending on the situation.

Operational Philosophy

Chain of Command

Pre-Operation Expectations

Uniform & Equipment Standards

Operational Conduct

Communications & Radio Discipline

Vehicles & Aviation

Medical & Casualty Procedures

After Action Reviews

CHAPTER 1: Purpose

The Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) establish the baseline expectations for every member participating in official 7th Legion operations.

These procedures are designed to create consistency across every campaign, regardless of the setting, faction, or time period.

Following the SOP improves communication, teamwork, immersion, and the overall experience for everyone involved.

While individual operations may include mission-specific instructions or modifications, this handbook provides the standard procedures that members should expect unless otherwise directed.

CHAPTER 2: Operational Philosophy

The 7th Legion is built around organized teamwork rather than individual performance.

The goal of every operation is not simply to eliminate the enemy, but to work together to accomplish the mission while preserving the force.

Members are expected to prioritize:

Teamwork over individual heroics.

Mission success over kill counts.

Communication over assumptions.

Discipline over chaos.

Learning over blame.

Adaptability over perfection.

Every operation is an opportunity to improve as a team.

CHAPTER 3: Chain of Command

A clear chain of command ensures efficient decision-making during operations.

Unless otherwise directed, members will follow this structure:

Company Commander

Executive Officer

Platoon Leader

Platoon Sergeant

Squad Leader

Fireteam Leader

Individual Rifleman

Following Orders

Members are expected to follow lawful operational orders promptly.

If an order is unclear, ask for clarification.

If you believe an order creates an immediate safety issue or conflicts with mission rules, notify your leader respectfully.(Charging an open field could an example of this but if its what the SL wants then there might be a deeper reason anything major should be addressed after the op) being ordered to gun down a civilian for no reason is an example of you don’t have to follow the order, as it can affect our campaign as it could become a (Incident in LORE).

Operational disagreements should not become public arguments during combat.

CHAPTER 4: Pre-Operation Expectations

Every member should arrive before the scheduled start time whenever possible.

Prior to Operation start times, Squads are to load into Tempest 1 Voice Channels in the discord and wait for Platoon HQ to give the all clear for x squads to load into the server so leadership can gauge at how many reservists are needed for x squad prior to load in. In addition ALL leadership will have a preload in meeting on discord prior to operations on server to brief everyone of the plan / OPORD.

Prior to deployment, members should ensure they have:

The correct uniform.

The correct loadout.

Uniformity is essential to maintaining immersion, professionalism, and unit cohesion.

Members are expected to wear the authorized uniform for each operation. With uniforms assigned players will be able to wear different versions of said uniforms and vests so long its from the same modpack or similar camo not too much of a difference to truly notice. (Cant wear BDU as a Marine when everyone is wearing marpat for example).

Final Note

The SOP is not intended to restrict creativity or initiative.

"Discipline creates freedom on the battlefield."
